Recorded live, in just one day, at HomeGrown Studios in Larbert.
Pabs turned 40, nestled amid the numerous gifts was a small card.
When he opened the envelope a gift voucher for a studio in Edinburgh that,
well to be frank, catered more for drunken stag and hen do’s who wanted to
be a ‘star’ for an hour. To their credit they did refund our singer, so he
ventured around the internet to find a studio who would be happy to record
us playing a set live.
It was becoming clear that we would not be
able to play our full range of distorted guitars, instead we would opt for
a subtle acoustic setup. After a worldwide search it was somewhat ironic that
the answer lay just a few miles away oin Larbert. Homegrown Studios.
We recorded the whole set in one sitting, sure there were a few nerves, but
we got there. After that we headed to the pub to finish our grand day out.
Picking the songs to play was tricky, there were some surpirses, the resurgence
of Flame from our forgotten album ‘Coldhome Street’ and the heavy guitar laden
‘Industry’.
This album will always have a special place in our hearts.
